NFL Week Four Power Rankings

Another interesting week with some movement up top.  The Rams beat the Buccaneers head to head so they move up one spot while the Buccaneers move down a spot.  The Chiefs slid out of the top 10 due to their horrible defensive performances and miscues on offense.  I'm pretty sure it is an anomaly but there are teams playing better football right now for sure.  The Steelers had the biggest drop moving down 10 spots.  The Chargers had the biggest rise going plus 6.

1. Los Angeles Rams (3-0) (+1)

The Rams looked amazing against the Champs.  If there is a weakness in this team I can't find one yet.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) (-1)

I've been saying for weeks that I'm concerned about their secondary.  We seen what this defense will do against a high powered offense that actually has an offensive line.

3. Arizona Cardinals (3-0) (+3)

I wasn't high on the Cardinals coming into the season but they are looking like the real deal.  Their division is going to be an absolute dogfight for first place.  Kyler is an early frontrunner for MVP.

4. Buffalo Bills (2-1) (--)

The Bills are putting up some points.  They are 4th in the league in points.  Their defense is making stops too.  They are +50 in point differential.  Too put that in perspective, the Jets are -50.

5. Cleveland Browns (2-1) (--)

The Browns are going to go as far as their run game takes them.  Baker does a great job and really isn't asked to do too much.

6. Las Vegas Raiders (3-0) (+2)

These Raiders are the real deal.  They've scored only 2 points less than the explosive Chiefs.  Their defense isn't the greatest but they can get to the QB.

7. Green Bay Packers (2-1) (+4)

What happened in week 1?  Packers are never out of any close game with Rodgers.  Their defense needs to tighten up a few things but I expect them to make their annual trip to the NFC Conference Championship.

8. San Francisco 49ers (2-1) (-1)

They gave Rodgers 37 seconds on the clock.  Other than that they could be 3-0 right now.  They have a few injuries concerns but nothing too crazy right now.

9. Baltimore Ravens (2-1) (+3)

I still think their injuries are very concerning.  They've been able to overcome them early on.  Will that last through a long season?  Let's see!

10. Denver Broncos (3-0) (--)

The Broncos haven't lost a game but they did play the Giants, Jets, and Jags.  Yet, they have only been able to score 76 points.  They will need to find a way to be more explosive when facing better teams.

11. Los Angeles Chargers (2-1) (+6)

The Chargers are putting up points.  Herbert is looking like a very good QB in his second year.  Their defense isn't the greatest.  They just need to be middle of the pack if their offense keeps preforming the way they are.

12. Kansas City Chiefs (1-2) (-9)

I haven't lost faith yet.  They lost the ball 4 times against the Chargers and only lost by a single possession.  That's just crazy that their offense can overcome so much.  Their defense is a dumpster fire right now.  The last time they lost 2 games in a row, they won a Super Bowl that year.  I like the Josh Gordon signing, low risk, high reward.

13.  Dallas Cowboys (2-1) (+1)

The Cowboys looked very impressive against their rivals the Eagles.  They are a pretty balanced team right now.  They should run away with their division this year.

14. Tennessee Titans (2-1) (+2)

The Titans have started to look like themselves after a disappointing first week.  They are definitely a team trending up.

15. Carolina Panthers (3-0) (--)

I am still not sold completely on the Panthers.  Darnold looks a million times better.  However, their team definitely takes a hit without CMC for a few weeks.

16. Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) (+3)

Their offense and defense have both improved each week in my opinion.  They have allowed the fewest points of any team in their division.

17. Minnesota Vikings (1-2) (+5)

I think that the Vikings are a better team than their record suggests.  They have been playing lights out, just a few bad bounces not going their way.  I think that evens out throughout the season and they make a playoff run.

18. Seattle Seahawks (1-2) (-5)

75 points scored while giving up 79 points.  That isn't a good recipe for success.  Their defense needs to improve and fast.  Their schedule doesn't let up.

19. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2) (-10)

What happened after week one?  They are -16 in point differential.  They look worse than the injury depleted Ravens team.  The Steelers have too many weapons to look this bad.

20. New England Patriots (1-2) (-2)

They are second best in their division when it comes to point differential with +3.  I'd like to see them be more explosive on offense.  I like what I see from Mac so far.

21. New Orleans Saints (2-1) (--)

The Saints have a good record but something just isn't right.  I can't put my finger on it.  I just don't trust them, yet.

22. Washington Football Team (1-2) (-2)

This "elite" defense has given up 92 points.  The Lions have given up 95 to put that in perspective.  They need to hurry up and find out what is wrong  and fix it before it is too late in a very strong NFC this year.

23. Philadelphia Eagles (1-2) (+2)

They rise mainly because other teams fell.  They didn't have a good game against the Cowboys.  I think Hurts is a lot better than he showed last night.  Their gameplan was not good to say the least.

24. Indianapolis Colts (0-3) (-1)

They have only scored 3 more points than the Jaguars.  Their defense has only allowed 11 less points than the Jaguars.  Enough said.

25. Miami Dolphins (1-2) (+1)

Jacoby did play well in place of Tua given the situation.  They just are not scoring enough points.

26. Detroit Lions (0-3) (+1)

They put up a fight and if not for an amazing record field goal by Justin Tucker, they would of won their first game.

27. Chicago Bears (1-2) (-3)

I could have drawn a better game plan on a napkin with 20 minutes preparation.  They need to fix issues and fast before Justin Fields ends up another "what could have been QB".

28. Houston Texans (1-2) (--)

Until something changes when it comes to how the organization is ran this team will continue to be at the bottom.

29. New York Giants (0-3) (--)

The Giants are just not good.  Daniel Jones looks improved but that is about it.

30. Atlanta Falcons (1-2) (+1)

To have the talent this team has and only 1 win to show for it speaks volumes.  They have a -46 point differential.

31. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-3) (-1)

This isn't college Urban.

32. New York Jets (0-3) (--)

They are dead last in point differential with -50.  They have scored 20 points in three games and given up 70.  Wow.
