Another weird week in the NFL. We seen a few upsets and a few blowouts. The biggest rise this week were the Bills, Chiefs, and Colts with plus 5. The biggest fall this week were Buccaneers with negative 6. Let's get to the rankings!
1. Tennessee Titans (8-2) (+1)
The Titans are winning. It isn't always pretty but they are getting it done even without Henry.
2. Green Bay Packers (8-2) (+4)
Their defense is quietly a really good squad. Also, Rodgers always gives you a chance to win. If they get home field advantage in the playoffs then watch out rest of NFC.
3. Arizona Cardinals (8-2) (-2)
I know some of their main players are out but they just haven't looked good the last couple of weeks.
4. Dallas Cowboys (7-2) (+3)
Did we see them return to form after a major beatdown of a struggling Falcons team? They have a real test coming up in the Kansas City Chiefs.
5. New England Patriots (6-4) (+3)
Where did these Patriots come from? Their defense is playing great with their offense starting to come into their own scoring points.
6. Buffalo Bills (6-3) (+5)
The Bills, when they are on, are one of the best teams in the league. They are just lacking consistency this year but got back into the win column.
7. Los Angeles Rams (7-3) (-3)
The Rams have looked like the best team (on the field and on paper) for most of the NFL season. They aren't looking good right now.
8. Baltimore Ravens (6-3) (-3)
The Ravens offense didn't know what to do against the Dolphins defense. It was bad.
9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-3) (-6)
Much like the Rams they have looked good (apart from their secondary) all year. I'm not sure what is going on with them.
10. Kansas City Chiefs (6-4) (+5)
A lot of people are saying their 3 game winning streak doesn't mean much against the Giants, Packers (without Rodgers), and a Raiders team struggling through recent headlines. However, they looked their best on the road against a first place team to get back to first place. That isn't an easy feat. They have a big test against the Cowboys. If they win this one and look like their old selves, then watch out rest of the NFL.
11. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3-1) (-2)
A tie against a winless team is just as bad as a loss. They should have won for their defense alone but even they didn't show up. Mason is not the answer for QB moving forward after Big Ben retires.
12. Cincinnati Bengals (5-4) (+1)
They had a bye week, other teams around them did bad that is why they moved up a spot.
13. Indianapolis Colts (5-5) (+5)
They are quickly becoming a force in the AFC. They are making me eat my words before the start of the season.
14. Los Angeles Chargers (5-4) (--)
The Chargers have only scored 9 more points than the Raiders and only given up 2 less points. They aren't as good as some people make them out to be. They are not a powerhouse team.
15. Cleveland Browns (5-5) (-5)
The Browns have been so inconsistent this year but they are still in the race for first in their division. They need to get back to the basics and run the ball then playaction.
16. New Orleans Saints (5-4) (-4)
They have lost two in a row. The good new for them, so have the Buccaneers.
17. Minnesota Vikings (4-5) (+2)
They have scored 5 more points than the Packers in 1 less game. Their defense has given up 31 more points though. We see where the problem is.
18. Denver Broncos (5-5) (-2)
They looked like an unstoppable team 2 weeks ago back to being one of the most average teams there is.
19. Las Vegas Raiders (5-4) (-2)
They are falling fast. Not sure if it the new coach, all the outside headlines, or just drop in play. They need to figure it out as the AFC West is still up for grabs.
20. Carolina Panthers (5-5) (--)
The Panthers might have gotten their swagger back with Cam Newton.
21. San Francisco 49ers (4-5) (--)
Deebo is the real deal but are the 49ers as a whole the real deal?
22. Philadelphia Eagles (4-6) (+3)
They are plus 26 in point differential. They along with the Cowboys are the only teams in plus territory in their division.
23. Seattle Seahawks (3-6) (--)
Russel Wilson's first time being shutout in his career. Are the Packers defense that good or was he rushing his availably to come back to play?
24. Chicago Bears (3-6) (--)
They are tied with the Lions in points scored. Enough said.
25. Atlanta Falcons (4-5) (-3)
They were starting to look good then the Cowboys happened.
26. Washington Football Team (3-6) (+2)
I don't think anyone seen the WFT beat the Buccaneers the way that they did. Impressive. Although, at what cost? Chase Young is out for the rest of the year.
27. Miami Dolphins (3-7) (+2)
The Dolphins defense was really impressive against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. They made him look like he didn't know what he was doing. Where was this team the whole year?
28. New York Giants (3-6) (-1)
They had a bye week. The teams around them were a bit better is which is why they went down a spot.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7) (-3)
The Jaguars are 0-4 on the road and 0-3 in their division so far. You have to win division games and win some road games to be successful in this league (I know they played in London but it counted as a home game).
30. New York Jets (2-7) (--)
Not much I can say about the Jets. They are being outcoached and look unprepared almost every game.
31. Detroit Lions (0-8-1) (--)
Hey, they tied! That is almost as good as a win....right?
32. Houston Texans (1-8) (--)
They are the worst ran franchise in the league.
