This was probably the weirdest week in the NFL so far. Some of the heavy favorites lost and looked not so good in the process. A lot of close games as well. We see the Cardinals reclaiming the number 1 spot that they've had quite a few times this season. The biggest rise was +4 which 6 teams accomplished. The biggest fall was by the Raiders with -6.
1. Arizona Cardinals (8-1) (+3)
The Cardinals didn't stay out of the number 1 spot for too long. They really continue to impress me even in their one loss this year.
2. Tennessee Titans (7-2) (+4)
The Titans have rattled off 5 wins in a row. They continue to win even if it doesn't always look pretty. I'm still concerned about their run game but I think their defense can make up for any offensive deficiencies that arise.
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-2) (+2)
They had a bye week and still rose in the power rankings that is how bad some of the top teams looked this week.
4. Los Angeles Rams (7-2) (-3)
The Rams looked very flat this week against the Titans. Stafford seemed under pressure the whole game and just couldn't adjust.
5. Baltimore Ravens (6-2) (+2)
They continue to look good every week. They have to be loving where they are at after all the injuries before the season started it seemed like a lost cause.
6. Green Bay Packers (7-2) (-4)
I think people are being a bit too hard on Love. It was his first start at a very loud and tough place to play. Also, the Chiefs defense has been improving the last several weeks. Spags had a great game plan and the players executed it well.
7. Dallas Cowboys (6-2) (-4)
Probably the most surprising loss of the week. The Cowboys looked horrible and the Broncos crushed them in all phases of the game.
8. New England Patriots (5-4) (+4)
The Patriots have won 3 in a row and have scored just 5 less points than the "powerhouse offense" that are the Bills. *Patriots have played one more game.
9. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3) (+4)
The Steelers have won 4 in a row which makes them rise in my rankings. They are negative in the point differential which concerns me moving forward into the season. Their offense needs to get rolling.
10. Cleveland Browns (5-4) (+4)
I'm not sure what to think of the Browns. They are up and down all season long. I think they will be there at the end fighting for a division title especially with their run game.
11. Buffalo Bills (5-3) (-3)
The Bills have not looked like themselves the last several weeks. I'm not sure what is going on. They need to fix it fast.
12. New Orleans Saints (5-3) (-3)
The Saints are doing well this season for the most part. They still need to figure out what they are going to do at QB.
13. Cincinnati Bengals (5-4) (-3)
They are 2-3 in their last 5 games and looked horrible against the Browns. They have all the tools to correct whatever is going on. They will be there just liked the rest of their division fighting it out until the very end.
14. Los Angeles Chargers (5-3) (+1)
Right now they own the division going 2-0 and leading the charge of all the 5 win teams in the AFC West.
15. Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) (+2)
The Chiefs have won 2 ugly games in a row. However, their defense has looked better. The Chiefs just can't have the offense and defense playing good at the same time apparently.
16. Denver Broncos (5-4) (+4)
The Broncos probably had the most impressive victory this year over the Cowboys. They are +34 in point differential this season. The next highest in the division is the Raiders with +7.
17. Las Vegas Raiders (5-3) (-6)
They couldn't afford to lose especially when all the other division teams won. They have to have a big game against the Chiefs Sunday night.
18. Indianapolis Colts (4-5) (--)
The Colts are doing well however, they are 1-2 in their division so far. They need to figure out how to win in their division and keep up with the Titans.
19. Minnesota Vikings (3-5) (-3)
This team has had a lot of bad breaks this season. They are better than their record suggests.
20. Carolina Panthers (4-5) (+1)
The Panthers started off so hot and now are last in their division. Ouch.
21. San Francisco 49ers (3-5) (-2)
I'm not sure what is wrong with the 49ers. I'll start with coaching.
22. Atlanta Falcons (4-4) (+2)
The Falcons are 3-2 in their last 5 games. They are starting to trend in the right direction.
23. Seattle Seahawks (3-5) (--)
They had a bye week. I usually try and not move teams on a bye week.
24. Chicago Bears (3-6) (+1)
Justin Fields started to come alive in the second half of the game against the Steelers. That should give the Bears fans a lot of optimism.
25. Philadelphia Eagles (3-6) (-3)
The Eagles are 2-3 in their last 5 games. They are positive in point differential though with +9.
26. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) (+4)
I honestly think with a better coach this team would have a few more wins to their total.
27. New York Giants (3-6) (+1)
Although their record doesn't show it, they have been pretty impressive the last couple of weeks. That says a lot with how injured them team has been.
28. Washington Football Team (2-6) (-2)
Some of the bad teams had a good week so they moved up leaving the WFT to fall a few spaces even in their bye week.
29. Miami Dolphins (2-7) (--)
They are -87 in point differential this season. Enough said.
30. New York Jets (2-6) (-3)
The Jets have had a lot of bad breaks when it comes to injuries. A good team and well coached team like the Ravens have overcame injuries.
31. Detroit Lions (0-8) (--)
They had a bye week and I'm tempted to move their record to 0-9.
32. Houston Texans (1-8) (--)
I won't put anymore effort other than this sentence on the worst ran franchise in the NFL.
