This might be the most exciting game of all of week one. Both teams are looking to make a deep run into the playoffs. This win will give a nice tiebreaker in the AFC.
When Buffalo passes: This is a wash. The Bills put up the 2nd most points and 3rd most pass yards per game. The Steelers were the 3rd best in not allowing teams to score and 3rd in pass yards against last year. This is strength on strength.
When Buffalo rushes: The Steelers have a slight advantage here being the 11th in rushing yards allowed last year while the Bills were 20th in rushing yards.
Quick Note: The Steelers help their running game which was the worst in the league last year by drafting Najee Harris.
When Pittsburgh passes: This is a wash. The Steelers were 15th in passing yards per game last year and 12th in points scored. The Bills were 13th in passing yards against and16th in points against. The Bills have Tre' White who often more times than not shuts down the opponent's main weapon.
When Pittsburgh rushes: The advantage goes to the Bills. It is hard to say how much Harris will help out until we see it. That's why I'm giving the Bills the advantage here being 17th against the rush last year against the worst rushing team last year.
MY PICK:
I originally had the Steelers winning this game but it will be a close one. I give the slight advantage to the Bills at their home stadium.
